CPN-UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli has urged party leaders and cadres to play an active role in strengthening the party organisation and expanding its membership base.
Addressing the inaugural session of a national workshop on membership renewal and expansion organised by the UML Central Organisation Department, Oli underscored the importance of maintaining party unity and organisational discipline.
The UML chair called on leaders and cadres to remain united and proactive in building a strong party capable of effectively confronting organisational and political challenges.
“UML is a party committed to nationalism, peace, development, prosperity, and democracy,” Oli said, stressing the party’s dedication to advancing the nation’s interests and democratic values.
He further emphasized that no one should be guided by a sense of revenge or personal animosity in carrying out party responsibilities. Instead, he urged party members at all levels to work with renewed confidence, enthusiasm, and a spirit of collective responsibility.
Oli also called for a greater commitment to grassroots mobilisation and organisational strengthening to consolidate the party's position further.
The workshop has brought together provincial and district in-charges, including representatives from Bharat Pravas, office-bearers of provincial committees and equivalent bodies, office secretaries, district committee chairpersons, heads of organisation departments, and other party officials from across the country.
According to the organisers, the workshop is focused on reviewing the party’s membership campaign and formulating strategies for membership renewal and expansion nationwide.
