Prime Minister Sushila Karki has invited leaders from seven political parties represented in the dissolved House of Representatives to discuss the upcoming parliamentary election.
The interim government led by PM Karki has been entrusted with the responsibility of conducting the national election on March 5 next year.
According to Ram Rawal, Press Coordinator to the Prime Minister, official letters have been sent to the concerned parties for a meeting scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on October 21 at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar.
Two high-level representatives from each of the seven political parties have been requested to attend the discussion, Rawal added.
The political parties invited to the meeting include the Nepali Congress, CPN (UML), CPN (Maoist Centre), Rastriya Swatantra Party, Rastriya Prajatantra Party, Janamat Party, and Nagarik Unmukti Party.
