Renowned Nepali cine icon Rajesh Hamal has launched his new book ‘Yugdekhi Yugsamma’, written in dialogue form with journalist Yangesh. The book was released at a special ceremony in Kathmandu on Saturday.
Hamal, accompanied by his spouse Madhu Bhattarai and writers Yangesh and Buddhi Sagar, jointly unveiled the book, which explores Hamal’s cinematic journey, life experiences, and personal reflections.

“Some of my untold stories have been featured in this book,” Hamal said during the launch. “It took three years to bring this project to life. The book also delves into topics like politics, religion, psychology, migration, and the relationship between the government and the people.”
According to the publishers, ‘Yugdekhi Yugsamma’ presents a comprehensive portrayal of Hamal’s personal and professional life, touching upon family, social, and cultural dimensions.
The 293-page book has been published by FinePrint Publication House.
