Senior tourism entrepreneur and travel writer Rajendra Man Dangol’s travelogue ‘Kailash Kora’ was released amid a function held in Kathmandu on Friday.
The book is based on Dangol’s personal experiences during his spiritual and adventurous journey to Kailash Manasarovar in Tibet.
Speaking at the event, writer Shrestha remarked that although many people travel to different destinations in their lifetime, few transform those experiences into literary works. “Kailash Kora, written in simple and engaging language, allows readers who have not visited Kailash to experience the journey vicariously,” he added.
Reviewing the book, literary figure Bindu Sharma said that the work beautifully connects Nepali literature and tourism, incorporating legends of monasteries and various sites encountered during the pilgrimage.
The book has been published by Nepalaya Publication.
