Prime Minister Sushila Karki has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to conduct the upcoming House of Representatives election on the scheduled date.
In her Bada Dashain message of best wishes to all Nepalis at home and abroad today, Prime Minister Karki stated that the incumbent government, formed on the foundation of the Gen-Z Protest, will ensure that the election is held on time. She also pledged to uphold good governance and work for peace and stability in the country.
Extending her greetings for peace, happiness, and prosperity during the festive season, PM Karki expressed hope that Dashain would strengthen unity among Nepalis.
Meanwhile, the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers has informed that Prime Minister Karki will neither receive Dashain Tika nor offer it to the public this year.
