Minister for Education, Science, and Technology Mahabir Pun has issued a four-point directive to the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) for immediate implementation.
As the chair of CTEVT, Minister Pun instructed the council to prepare a framework to improve the existing curriculum by incorporating innovations and submit it to the ministry by October 17.
He also directed the CTEVT to set up an integrated academic calendar and ensure that examination results are published within three months of the exams.
Additionally, the minister ordered the establishment of a grievance mechanism at the CTEVT office to receive, record, and address complaints from students, parents, and teachers without delay.
Likewise, he instructed the council to compile and submit a report on all applications received for affiliation since 2069 BS (2012/13) by October 17, and to promptly decide on whether to grant or deny those affiliations.
