The price of gold in the domestic market continued its upward trend on Saturday, rising by Rs 2,200 per tola compared to last Friday.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, gold is being traded at Rs 258,800 per tola (11.66 grams) today. Silver, meanwhile, has been priced at Rs 3,825 per tola.
On Friday, gold was traded at Rs 256,600 per tola, while silver stood at Rs 3,905 per tola, indicating a decline in the price of silver.
In the international market, gold is being traded at USD 4,299 per ounce, while silver is priced at USD 62 per ounce, according to international media reports.
