The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has increased the prices of fuel, effective from midnight on Tuesday.
According to the revised price list, the prices of diesel and kerosene have been increased by Rs 30 per litre, while aviation fuel has gone up by Rs 5 per litre. However, the price of petrol remains unchanged.
With the latest adjustment, the price of diesel and kerosene has been fixed at Rs 237 per litre, while aviation fuel now costs Rs 256 per litre in the domestic market, the NOC said in a press statement.
Despite the hike, the Corporation stated that it continues to incur losses due to rising prices in the international market.
