=The Ministry of Home Affairs has directed all district security committees to hold discussions with the private sector regarding the damages sustained during the September 8–9 Gen Z protest.
A secretary-level meeting of the Ministry made the decision, instructing the committees to collect detailed reports on losses suffered by private businesses across various districts.
For this purpose, the committees have been urged to engage in consultations with business organizations, including the chambers of commerce and industry, to assess the extent of the damage.
The Ministry stated that this initiative aims to create a conducive environment for investment by acknowledging and addressing the concerns of the private sector affected during the protests.
