Thukten Palwar Lama, a 24-year-old resident of Namkha Rural Municipality-3, Khagalgaun, has been missing for over a month.
According to his family, Thukten went missing during the Gen Z movement held in Kathmandu on September 8–9 and has not been in contact since.
Thukten had been living in Tinchuli, Kathmandu, with his nephew for the past year after completing his Lama Studies at Narayanthan Monastery. His father, Taichhiring Lama, said that Thukten returned home safely after participating in the September 8 demonstration b,ut left his residence the following day and has not been heard from since.
Taichhiring has appealed to the public and authorities for help in locating his son. He said both the District Police Office in Humla and the Kathmandu Police have been informed about the disappearance.
